Who sends and who receives

PatientStars (patientstars.com) sends transactional SMS to dental and optometry office staff in the United States. Recipients are practice owners or office managers who typed their own mobile number on our public website form and checked an SMS consent checkbox.

SMS is optional. You can save an office with work email only and never receive a text. Consent is not a condition of using the website.

Short service notices about that same reserved desk

We do not send advertising, promotions, lending, or age-gated content by SMS.

Message frequency: You may receive up to 8 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply.

How you opt in

Opt-in is website or inbound keyword. Website form: https://patientstars.com/waitlist. Work email is required to save an office. Mobile number is optional. If you enter a mobile number, you must check an unchecked SMS consent checkbox before submit. Submit button: Save this office.

You can also text SAVE (or SAVE plus the office slug from your Google snapshot) to the PatientStars Twilio number (908) 270-5237 shown on that page. That is you starting the conversation from your own phone. Consent is not required to save with work email only.

Mobile information

We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Twilio is our SMS delivery vendor and receives a number only to deliver messages you opted into. Mobile numbers and SMS consent are not sold, rented, or transferred as a marketing list, including if the business is sold.
